Spheres of Influence, is a participatory art project that prompts individuals to discover and map their personal and social power. This project was born during the 2020 racial justice demonstrations and the Covid 19 Pandemic. Beth Grossman’s shelter in place, social experiment was documented and artfully portrayed by filmmaker Keith Moreau. Our very own City Councilwoman, Madison Davis participated. Here is a five-minute glimpse of this expansive idea.

Beth Grossman, Brisbane Artist and one of the Featured Artists of Keith Moreau's upcoming documentary film, "Sharing Artists Sharing," is an extraordinary talent who has shown her world all over the world. For 12 years Keith has had the privilege of filming Beth and documenting her amazing adventures creating her work with a message and encouraging and enabling her community to share their art as well. She's also the organizer and host of the annual Brisbane Art Sharing Evening, local representative of the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture, and organizer of the monthly artists meeting "Block by Block." Join us for a brief insight into Beth's tireless efforts to create and enlighten over the years.

Introducing Sharing Artists Sharing - The Film

Produced by Keith Moreau and Sam Ellis Moreau, 'Sharing Artists Sharing' kicked off the 2010 City of Brisbane, California 'Art Sharing Evening' and served as an introduction to the talented artists who participated in the show.

'Sharing Artists Sharing' shows a brief glimpse into what motivates the artists, how they realize their art, and what keeps them going.

Over 30 Brisbane-based artists were interviewed and featured in this trailer and introduction, including filmmaker David Brown, participatory artist Beth Grossman, singer Amy Dondy, and photographer Mary Parisi, and is the basis for a full-length documentary currently in production.
